How can we help?
Email hello@jonstech.co.uk.
Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, your app version and your iPhone/iOS version. A screenshot can help; hide other people's information first. Never send passwords, verification codes, recovery codes or household invitation/setup codes.
I have not received my email code
Check the email address and your Junk or Spam folder. Account emails come from TidyTogether <tidytogether@jonstech.co.uk>. Use the most recently requested code; codes expire after ten minutes. Wait for the app to offer another code before requesting one again.
If the email still does not arrive, email support from the address you used if possible. Tell us whether it was verification or password recovery, and roughly when you requested it. Do not include a code.
I forgot my password
Choose Forgot password? on the email sign-in screen. Enter your email address, then use the reset code sent there to choose a new password. After resetting, sign in again. Other signed-in sessions are revoked for security.
If you originally chose Sign in with Apple, use that sign-in option and the same Apple Account. A Hide My Email relay address can look different from your usual email.
How do I connect another person?
An account holder can open Settings → Manage Home to invite another account holder or add a child profile. Account holders use their own accounts; profile members join with a setup code and do not need an email address or password.
The app's child profile option is a simple household member profile that can be used by someone of any age. The account holder chooses a name or nickname; it does not need to be a real name. The member connects with a setup code, sees assigned chores and ticks them off. They cannot create chores or enter messages from that profile.
Account invitation codes expire after seven days; profile setup codes expire after 24 hours. A used, cancelled or expired code cannot be used again. Ask an account holder in the home to generate a fresh code. To reconnect a profile on a replacement device, open that profile in Manage Home and create a new setup code. Keep the code private.
I cannot see a chore
Members connected with a setup code see chores assigned to their own profile. Unassigned chores are for account holders. Ask an account holder to check the assignment, the chore's repeat schedule and whether it is paused. Make sure you are connected to the intended home.
My reminders are not arriving
Check the notification switches and reminder time in TidyTogether Settings, then check iPhone Settings → Notifications → TidyTogether. Daily reminders default to 9am in your device's time zone and are only sent when there is an unfinished chore due for you. Assignment alerts are a separate setting.
Focus, Scheduled Summary, network conditions and device notification settings can delay or hide alerts. Signing out or disconnecting a profile's device stops its registration. If needed, sign in again and reopen the app so it can reconnect notification settings. Web browser reminders are not currently provided.
I paid for Pro, but it is missing
Check you are signed in to the correct TidyTogether account and home, and the Apple Account that bought Pro. Open the Pro screen and choose Restore purchases. Contact support if it still does not appear. Include the plan and approximate purchase date; do not send payment-card details.
How do I cancel Pro or request a refund?
Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TidyTogether, or manage subscriptions here. The Apple Account that started Pro manages it. Cancel a trial at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew.
Deleting TidyTogether or deleting your account does not cancel billing. For an Apple refund request, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account or a household profile?
Open Settings → Account and deletion. Confirm your identity and read the warning before deleting.
- If you are the only account holder and own the home, your account deletion also deletes that home, its member profiles, chores and history.
- If you own a home with another account holder, transfer ownership in Manage Home first.
- Otherwise, your account and profile name are removed, but shared completion history may remain labelled “Former member”.
An account holder can remove a member profile in Manage Home. Disconnecting a device alone does not delete that profile. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server data.
If you cannot sign in, email hello@jonstech.co.uk with the subject TidyTogether deletion request. We will explain how to verify the request. Do not include your password or codes.
Can I ask for a copy or correction?
Yes. Email hello@jonstech.co.uk with the subject TidyTogether privacy request and explain what you need. We may need to verify identity and, for a request on behalf of a child, appropriate authority.
